BNR Controller
  • The BNR Controller will be installed on 1 machine. This will Control all the client "RenderNodes" located on the LAN.
  • The BNR Controller can alert you via e-mail as renders start and complete. Additional e-mail options include notification of RenderNode crashes and a status monitor.
  • The BNR Controller handles the management of the render queue via a first come first served basis in the standard version. In the professional version; Rendernode grouping, scene prioritising, scene ordering and Maximum Rendernode throttling controls allow additional management of render farm workflow.
  • The BNR Controller has multiple Scene importing methods, scenes can be added either individually or in groups through the Add Scene control. Or scenes can be automatically added and initialized to render via an autoload folder (essential for handling large numbers of scene files).
  • The BNR Controller allows some scene parameters to be changed; Output format of rendered frames, start/end frames. The Professional version additionally allows some render and camera settings to be modified.
  • The BNR Controller checks for rendered frames and allows instant access to a scene's render folder via the "View Frame Directory" feature
  • As the BNR Client will automatically connect to the BNR Controller, you do not have to configure the Controller to know all the IP Addresses of the Clients, the Clients will talk to the Controller.
